Please read these Competition Terms ("Terms" or "Agreement") carefully, as they affect your future legal rights. These Terms apply to the competition or competitions described on this website (the "Competition").

• Mzansiplay will be running multiple Competitions that will run indefinitely.
• These terms and conditions apply to the “buy rainOne” Competitions and the“social media” Competitions(“the Competitions”), amongst others.
• The Competitions are conducted by MzansiPlay also referred to as “Promoter”, “us”, “we”, and “our”.
• By taking part in any of these Competitions, you agree to and accept these terms and conditions.
• The “participant” is the qualifying person who has chosen to take part in these Competitions.
• All information relating to these Competitions and information we publish on any promotional material forms part of the terms and conditions of the Competitions

Competition Rules

These rules are the official rules of the Competitions("rules").These rules(together with any official Competition communications) will govern and apply to the respective Competitions.

• By entering any of these Competitions, you agree to be bound by these rules.
• These rules can only be modified (or superseded) by the Promoter (in its reasonable discretion) in a written revision to these rules posted on the Competitions website or (at Promoter's sole discretion) any other potential official Competitions communication methods via any public platform reasonably calculated to reach a majority of potential participants.

Eligibility

• Have entered a valid email address to participate
• Have paid an entry fee (i.e. A minimum of R 10) that allows you to participate
• An active account

Participation

• No person who is a director and/or employee of the Promoter is eligible to participate or enter these Competitions.
• The Competitions are open to everyone who are 18 years and older.

Channels

• The Promoter may communicate with participants via Facebook and Instagram (“social media”), email, the MzansiPlay website and/or WhatsApp channels to promote the Competitions and communicate with participants.

Entries

• “All Competitions” - Each Competition will be accessed through the website by having a certain number of points in order to claim the prize and can be limited to a certain number of people either 1 or more.
• “social media competition” - the Competition will be accessed through commenting,liking or interacting with our certain social media posts as directed by the specific social media post

Points

Points are essential to claiming a prize and as such, prizes will indicate the number of points required to claim the prize. Points are subject to reset every month.

All MzansiPlay Competition

• A participant must have a valid email address
• A participant must have a certain number of points to enter or claim the prize
• A participant must have a accumulated a certain amount equivalent to the prize value to claim the prize.
• A participant may enter all Competitions anytime
• A participant can win the competition by claiming the prize based on the amount of points required
• A participant can win a higher cash prize if he/she has activated his account (i.e. Basic & Pro) and has a certain amount points to claim the prize
• The winners will not be chosen by random selection but only if he/she has claimed the prize
• A minimum of 10 people can claim the prize per month
• Entries reflected on Promoter’s records will be treated as the only validation source and will be the only evidence of successful entries
• The winner of the competition will be selected and notified via a direct message to the winner’s mobile number or email address
• People who can claim the prize can increase for every 50k-100k followers we get

Click and Win Competition

• A participant will be eligible to win a prize, if the participant:
  • reaches the required cash prize value
  • claims the prize when the cash prize value matches the accumulated amount
  • has 50 percent of the points based on the value of the prize
  • has reached a certain number of clicks.
• A participant may enter as many times as they like unless specified otherwise in the official Competitions post
• The participant decides when he/she wants to win the prize
• No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged in transmission
• Entries reflected on Promoter’s records will be treated as the only validation source and will be the only evidence of successful entries
• The winner of the competition will be selected and notified via a direct message on the relevant social media site

Social Media Competition

• A participant will be eligible to win a prize, if the participant:
  • shares or posts as directed by the various social media channels
  • uses the hashtag (e.g "#MzansiPlay") communicated on the Competitions post; and
  • tags @MzansiPlay as directed during the Competitions period.
  • has reached a certain number of clicks.
• A participant may enter as many times as they like unless specified otherwise in the official Competitions post
• The winners will be chosen via a certified method of selection
• No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged in transmission
• Entries reflected on Promoter’s records will be treated as the only validation source and will be the only evidence of successful entries
• The winner of the competition will be selected and notified via a direct message on the relevant social media site

Closing Dates/Conditions

• The closing dates of the Competitions will be communicated directly via either email, by way of social media, via a WhatsApp channel or the website
• The closing of the competition can be done upon someone being the first to claim the prize and as such will be communicated via our social media pages
• The other condition for the competition to close is when we reach a certain number of followers on our social media pages

Prizes

• The prizes may vary from a cash prize, voucher, device, data or minutes to a luxury prize, amongst others. The specific prize that can be won will be communicated via the official communications channels
• Prizes may increase in cash value influenced by the number of followers we get on our social media pages (i.e. Facebook)
• The prizes are transferable to another person that the participant may wish to transfer to, who is 18 years or older
• Cash prizes may differ based on the type of account the user has activated and as such a minimum of 50% of the cash prize will be awarded if the user account is on Free
• Certain competitions may offer 100% of the cash prize, such competitions are those that don't need you to login/register.

Prize Fulfilment

• Certain competitions may require our social media pages to have certain amount of followers to be able to claim the prize or enabling us to deliver on providing the prize you have won or claimed
• The amount followers we would require will be noted on the competition page or the prize that you want to win or claim
• The winner or winners may unfortunately have to wait till we reach our social media following goal, or they can invite their friends to reach the goal faster
• A total of 10 people must claim the prize before the end of each month to reward everyone with the prize

General Rules

• The participant unconditionally and irrevocably indemnifies and holds harmless the Promoter and its successors, employees, officers, suppliers, contractors, agents, consultants, directors and shareholders against all and any losses, claims, proceedings, actions, damages, (direct, consequential or otherwise),liability, demands, expenses, legal costs (on an attorney and own client basis), medical costs or other costs howsoever arising out of, based upon, or in connection with (directly or indirectly) the participants participation in the Competitions, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
• The Promoter is not legally responsible for any misrepresentation caused due to an unintentional copy error, typing error or omission that may occur in any Competitions’ material communicated
• If a participant contravenes these rules, the participant may, in the Promoter’s discretion, be disqualified from the Competitions.
• The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence objecting the Promoter’s decision will be entered into.
• The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or alter any aspect of the Competitions at any time at its sole discretion without incurring liability.
• Participants in the Competitions understand and agree that in order to offer the Competitions, Promoter must collect and use personal information about the participants.
• Should a prize winner forfeit a prize for any reason on the part of the prize winner, the Promoter is indemnified of any liability that arises.
• These terms and conditions are subject to change according to the Promoter’s discretion and without any liability to or claim against the Promoter.
• The Competitions and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
• These Competitions are conducted under the terms of any applicable Data Protection laws in South Africa including the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available on the Promoter’s website
